Awkward Ignorance

This one seems extra awkward to me. These are Malcolm X’s daughter having a nice group photo at the Audobon Ballroom in New York, the site of their father’s assassination. 

“Smile big babies! Mama doesn’t get the gravity of what happened here.”

Ford Theatre, site of Lincoln’s assassination. 

“Okay, I’m going to lean against this tree like a senior photo. I want you to make sure the Dallas Book Depository is in the background.” 

Dallas Book Depository- where Lee Harvey Oswald sot JFK. 

“Bro, take my picture next to this Pirate looking sign.”  Auschwitz Concentration Camp where over a million people were murdered. 

Family Portrait at the Lorraine Hotel. The Lorraine Hotel is where Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated. 

I figure if I am going to do this I should start with a display of my own awkward ignorance. Me and my friend Caitlin (whom I forced to go here-that is why her smile is forced) smiling next to a sign for the River Raisin Battlefield where over 400 people died in the war of 1812.
